Control Panel User Manual
Introduction
Welcome, and congratulations on purchasing an Agentmaster ProSite. This manual will walk you through the basic functions of our Control Panel which allows you to update your website quickly and easily.
Getting started
To log into your Control Panel you must first display your website in an Internet browser. To do this type your website address and press the Enter key.
...Your website will load
On the very bottom of your website you will find a button labeled “"Control Panel". Click the Control Panel button.
...A login screen will appear
To login type your email username and password in the designated fields and press the Login button. If you do not have a username and password email our support staff at support@agentmaster.com
...Control Panel welcome page will appear
You are now ready to make changes to your website. To change content you will use the navigation buttons on the left. Once a button has been clicked its properties will be displayed.
Control Panel
To make a selection move the mouse over the desired button and Left Mouse Click.
The support function is available if you have any questions or problems with your Agentmaster ProSite. Fill out the designated fields stating your question and press the Send Message button.
* IMPORTANT: in your description be as detailed as possible including any error message you may be receiving. This will help our customer care agent assist you.
Selecting the Home button will bring you to a static welcome page. In the future this area will display Agentmaster news, coupons and upcoming features.

Company
The agents feature allows you to maintain the information relating to each individual agent. You are able to add, delete, and edit any agent submitted. To edit an existing agent press the Edit button.

Type the revised information in the necessary fields. When finished press the Save Profile button. The information will now be updated on your site.
To delete an existing agent press the checkbox next to the agents name and pres the Delete Agent button. The agent will now be removed from your site.
The offices feature allows you to maintain the information relating to your business contact information. You are able to add, delete, and edit any office submitted. To edit an existing office press the Edit button.

Type the revised information in the necessary fields. When finished press the Save Office button. The information will now be updated on your site.
To delete an existing office press the Delete Office button. The office will now be removed from your site.
The markets feature allows you to add towns from the available IDX area to your website's search page and drop down menus. To add a town, select one from the left hand column and press the Add Towns button. Your site will now reflect this change. The same process applies for removing a town.
* for group selections, i.e. all Maine towns, select the first town in the list. Then while holding your keyboard's Shift key select the last town in the list. All Maine towns will be selected.
* random selections can be made by holding your keyboard's Ctrl button when selecting towns.

Properties
The categories feature allows you create categories on the left side of your homepage, and also organize properties for specialized searches, i.e. luxury homes. You can choose to add, delete, or edit these categories.
The (move) option indicated by the up and down arrows lets you organize the hierarchy of categories on the home page.
To edit an existing category press the Edit button.

Make the desired revisions and press the Save Category button. The revisions will now be made on your site.
The groups feature serves two purposes. Adding or deleting properties to the homepage and adding groups for more defined searches.
Homepage properties and featured properties are both displayed on the homepage (usually hompage properties are shown in the center column and featured are off to the right). To add a property, click on the Add/ Remove Property button.

Select the property(s) you would like to add and press the Add button. When all properties have been added press the Done button. The changes will now be updated on your site. The same process applies for removing a property.
The Add Group feature allows you to make property selections for more refined searches shown on your website's search page. To add a group, press the Add Group button.

Type in the title of the group you would like in the designated field, i.e. “"homes with pools”". Press the Save Group button.

You are now able to edit the new group and add the appropriate property listings. When done the search options on your site's search page will have been updated.
The our listings feature allows you to edit a property within your office's listings database. To edit an existing property press the Edit button.
Update property details window will appear
Make the desired revisions to the property and press the Save Property button. The website will reflect the changes.
To upload a Primary photo...
simply click
"choose
file" or
"browse" under the photo to bring up your computers search interface,
find the photo you want to upload, then go back to your Control Panel
and click "Save Proiperty Info" down at the bottom of your screen.
This will start the upload process. Please allow a
few minutes for photos to upload to your website. (note: large photos
may take a long time to upload through the internet, sometimes requiring
you
to reduce the size beforehand.)
To upload Additional photos or files...
simply click the "Upload Photos/Files" button under the additional
photos area to bring up a new window where you can select multiple
photos, find the photos, files or PDF's you want
to upload, then click the "next button at the bottom of the Control
Panel screen. This will start the upload process. Please allow a
few minutes for photos and files to upload to your website. (note:
large photos may take a long time
to upload through the internet, sometimes requiring you to reduce
the size beforehand.)

Content
The articles section allows you to input valuable information for your users, i.e. promotional material, news, etc. Articles also help you get found by the search engines. To add a article to an existing category, press the Add Article button.

Fill in the designated fields and press the Save Article button. The site will reflect the change.
To edit an existing article press the Edit button.

Make the desired revisions to the article and press the Save Article button. The site will reflect the change.
To add a new category, click the Add Category button at the top of the page.

Input the desired category name and press the Save Category button. The site will reflect the change.
The site text feature allows advanced users to change information within the website in certain designated areas. To change any of the existing areas press the Edit button and fill out the desired fields. Then press the Save button. IMPORTANT: Please note that advanced coding knowledge may be needed.

Visitor Activity
- Visitor Statistics button
The visitor statistics area allows you to see how many people have viewed your site as well as the number of pages viewed, and much more.

Users
This feature allows you to change your existing login password. Fill in the designated text fields and press the Change My Password button. Your control panel will now email you the new passowrd and will reflect the changes.
- Update Login Email button
This feature allows you to change your login email username. This only changes the email you use to log into your Control Panel. Fill in the designated fields and press the Change My Email Address button. Your email address will be changed. Again, this ONLY changes the email address used to login to the control panel. To change the email address for your contact information please use the Company/Offices button. And to change the email address for your contact form leads email support@agentmaster.com.
- User Accounts (Office Prosites only)
This feature allows the main adminstrator to add, edit, or delete agents who access your site's Control Panel. You are able to set preferences for each agent. To add an agent, press the Add User button.

Fill in the designated fields and press the Add User button.
To edit an existing user press the Edit button

Make the desired revisions and press the Update User button.
To delete an existing user press the Delete button. The user will now be removed from your site.

Advanced Section
Introduction
This section will walk you through some of the more advanced features of your control panel.
Basic HTML Commands
Below are the most commonly used html commands. You can use these commands to format text on your site by enclosing the desired text in an opening and closing tag. You can also use these commands to insert images and various other advanced uses.

HTML Formatted
If you find yourself using HTML tags in a description it is important to check the HTML formatted checkboxbox, i.e. adding a link. Failure to check this box will result in the webpage showing your raw html text instead of converting it. When checked the HTML tags will function.

Using the HTML editor
(coming in 2006)
When using the html editor be aware that if you change the font of a description it will not change for the entire site. For instance, if you are editing your contact information and decide to use Arial instead of Verdana the site will not look consistent.
If you would like to switch from the text editor to the code window, press the <> button. The HTML code for the text and images will be available for editing.

Creating Links
To create a text link in your content you must use the <a> <a/> HTML tags. Here is an example of how to make a link in a body of text.
For more information contact John Doe.
The code for this would look like:

Importing Images
To place an image in your content you must use the <image src=”"name"> tag. Here is an example of how an image would look with the following code.

The code for this would look like:
<img src="barn.jpg" align="right">It was a warm summer evening and the red barn was filled with guests.
